How to Deal with Overwhelm during the Last few weeks before the end of the year…

Feeling overwhelmed can bring up many emotions like stress and anxiety. Stress and Anxiety can lead to intense emotions, scrambled thoughts and physical disease etc. All of these effects will not serve you and you will most likely prefer a preventative rather than a cause.

I would like to share a few tips to support you.

  • Budgeting- this is most helpful when it comes how much you really have to spend towards the holidays and not stressing about having to use credit. Finances can lead to the most amount of stress.   • Staying clear and Focused - Methods to stay clear and focused is to know what you want, write it down so you can manifest exactly that in the physical.   • Goals That need to be achieved- creating lists bring in structure and order. This can support you in achieving your goals and have lesser distractions. Goals enable us to work towards something eg. Christmas gifts , meal planning. Sometimes we may think that we are good at “winging it” and being spontaneous however we have to ask ourselves if the situation will later to lead to stress.

  • Staying Positive- A positive mindset leads to positive thoughts, words, feelings and actions. Creating a positive mindset behind with gratitude of what we do have thereafter practicing kindness, staying in alignment with this frequency supports us in staying in our hearts and shifting when required. Smiling, complimenting people goes a long way especially during this time of the year.   • Taking care of yourself- Self care is the most challenging when you have a lot of responsibility, however you cannot give from an empty cup; so take the time to nurture yourself, this can be a time of overindulging, practice present moment awareness and ask yourself if you really need something before indulging.
